Stevi Stoesz is a sixteen-year veteran of public market management. She started at the Indianapolis City Market in 1994 performing leasing and marketing functions, founded the Original Farmers' Market in 1997 and was a featured speaker at the Project For Public Spaces' 4th and 9th International Public Markets Conference in Seattle, Washington and Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, respectively.
As executive director, Stevi has led the revitalization of Indianapolis City Market and is committed to styling and maintaining a public market that meets the needs of residents, downtown employees and travelers.
Stevi is honored to be serving on the Indianapolis Plan 2020 Bicentennial Strategic Plan committee, which is charged with creating a city that welcomes, engages, and inspires. A city that builds upon its heritage and supports a diversity of people, authentic places, and experiences that foster civic pride and economic impact. A city that builds upon a tradition of innovation to offer unparalleled arts, cultural, sporting, and entertainment amenities accessible to all.
Stevi is an avid motorcyclist and recently founded an all-female motorcycle club in Indianapolis called the Circle City Soft Tails. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Jason, step-son, Louis and German Shepherds Bunker and Gizmo.
