Parking

In the next 16 months, downtown Indianapolis will experience a HUGE wave of development in the Market East District. As you may have noticed, with new development often comes growing pains in the form of closed streets and limited parking. We are looking forward to the 850 new residential flats, 130,000 sq. ft. in hotel space, and 21,000 sq. ft. of new office space but want to make sure City Market and the Original Farmers' Market shoppers have a reliable place to park.

The Indianapolis City Market & Denison Parking have penned a deal in which Market shoppers, both indoor and outdoor, are able to recoup $4 on parking in Denison's Market Street Garage between New Jersey & East streets. Please follow these simple instructions when using that garage only in order to insure you get $4 back and that the system is used correctly.

Step 1:
Enter the Market/New Jersey Garage and push green flashing button for ticket.
PARK ON LEVELS 4-8 ONLY. CARS PARKED ON LEVELS 1-3 WILL BE TOWED.

Step 2:
A path has been created down the middle of Market Street for shoppers to quickly and safely get from the garage to the Indianapolis City Market campus.

Step 3:
When shopping the Original Farmers' Market, vouchers can be obtained at the Information Tent located in the middle of the farmers' market, on the North side of the street.
When shopping inside the Indianapolis City Market, vouchers can be obtained from any City Market vendors.
Vouchers are only made available to shoppers that have spent $5 or more within the City Market or at the Original Farmers' Market.

Step 4:
Voucher is to be used UPON EXIT - NOT AT PAY STATION.
Enter Blue Parking Voucher first, followed by parking ticket obtained when entering the garage.

Up to 1 Hour: $3.00 (FREE with voucher)
1 - 2 Hours: $4.00 (FREE with voucher)
2-3 Hours: $5.00 ($1.00 with voucher)
3-4 Hours: $6.00 ($2.00 with voucher)
4-24 Hours: $8.00 ($4.00 with voucher)
Lost Ticket: $8.00

*Expired Vouchers will NOT be honored.
